Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, has won the award for Best African act at the MTV Europe Music Awards for the year 2022.
His co-nominees this year include Tems, Ayra Starr, and Ghanaian Black Sherif.
Nigerian disc Jockey DJ Spinall was one of the artists who performed at the award show that was held in Dusseldorf, Germany.

It’s the second time Burna Boy has won in this category having won his first in 2019.
He took to his Instagram story. He wrote, “Thanks for the love @mtvema I’m bummed I couldn’t be there. We go again.”
